Hepsia Database Manager
The Hepsia Control Panel features a full-featured database management graphical user interface, which will give you complete authority over your databases. You can easily create brand new MySQL and PgSQL databases and manage their content through the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin tools respectively.
An Easy-to-Use Interface
With the Database Manager, you can create a new database in a matter of seconds - simply specify its name and that's all. You will notice a list of all your DBs and their respective sizes. You will be able to edit passwords, to create database backups and to even log into the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin database management tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is very important to make periodic backups of your databases to secure your web site content and to refrain from any accidental data loss. With the Database Manager GUI, creating a database backup file is extremely easy. Simply click on the Backup icon next to the database you would like to back up and you will be immediately taken to the File Manager from where you can download your freshly created database backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can create differs based on the hosting package that you have selected. While MySQL is a very famous database management system employed by millions of users all over the world, PostgreSQL is considered a more innovative database management system and is primarily employed by technically proficient website administrators. You can manage your MySQL DBs via the phpMyAdmin tool, while PostgreSQL databases can be administered through the phpPgAdmin tool.
InnoDB Support
InnoDB is the leading transactional storage engine for MySQL, which is aimed at protecting users' data and at enhancing multi-user concurrency and performance. When you would like to create a new DB table, simply log in to the Hepsia Control Panel-incorporated phpMyAdmin database administration tool and choose the InnoDB storage engine from the list of available engines.
